A new shareholder question!

If this passes I need to construct a way for shareholders to control/advise/oversee/??? my romantic life. I'd be interested in exploring this concept with you all (seeing as many of you are K5M shareholders). How would it work?

I am imagining some sort of web app. Like romance.kmikeym.com or something. But as for the exact mechanics, I'm not sure...

It's totally normal.

If I was to start dating someone I'd surely talk about it with my friends. And if my friends were like, "No. Don't date this person." then that would carry a lot of weight because my friends care about me. Also, if my friends were like, "Hey Mike, meet this person." it would be because they think we're compatible and they should know... they know me really well.

In my case my friends are shareholders. They still have my best interests at heart. They care about me. They are invested.

The point of this thread is to brainstorm ways in which the shareholders can apply that influence. As I said, I tend to think it's some sort of web app. But at what point do they have a say and how does the app work and what does it do?

You all had so many great wine puns... I'm sure you have ideas for this!

I think it's a very private site where you are just very open and we vote anonymously. So you ask the same questions you would ask of yourself when thinking about your dating life, and you get an external opinion.

This doesn't seem that unreasonable. Clearly he shouldn't have shared it. Just goes to show you what sort of mistakes a person will make when entering a relationship. LESSON LEARNED: I'm password protecting all my spreadsheets.

But also, let's be honest, that's very different from what I'm proposing.

Spreadsheet thing is definitely kind of odd, but also weird that there's no taking the girl to task for violating his trust. It's pretty shitty to let a guy think he's developing some sort of relationship with you, which is of course built on trust, and then be like "Just kidding! We're still in middle school! I only got you to write that love note so I could show it to all my friends and laugh at you." Just really immature.

Also, what's the difference between his spreadsheet and a diary? Just that it is on graph paper? I think posting this was a pretty weak call, but on the other hand... It's gawker.
