It's Friday!
I am safe and sound.
If there is anything too wrong with me... I don't know about it!
My cat is healthy.
My parents are healthy.
My friends are sweeties.
I live in a beautiful little hamlet which is filled with the most picturesque fog in the morning.
I have a job.
I have a tent card on my desk that says "Valentine, you're out of this world!" with a dinosaur riding a UFO.
I have half of a Coke Zero for later.
XOXOXOXXOXOXO

The class next door gave us a totally unforgettable mnemonic device for the spelling of desert/dessert.
"Dessert has two S's... because you want seconds."
"Iran to Afghanistan to get a Turkey for Israel"
it had something to do with either geographical placement or some cultural thing? This is from 8th grade. So shitty to remember the mnemonic but not the thing it connotes.
Trying to think of all the ones I/we know:
- LIMDAP (medieval modes)
- IBEEAC (I before E except after C (just kidding))
ROY G BIV is a classic
Mary's Violet Eyes Make Johnny Stay Up Nights Period. Poor period, you are no longer! You felt like a tacked-on afterthought even then...
Freshman year in high school we had to take this class where all we did was memorize Latin roots. It ended up being extraordinarily useful for the rest of my life. But we had a mnemonic device for every single root and now I can only remember one: "I was walking down the PATH, I was feeling kind of ILL"
Jesus Christ Made Seattle Under Protest
Street sequence downtown:
Jefferson James

Madison Marion
Seneca Spring

Screech's device for the planets is...
"MVENSJNUP!"
did i get that right?
LT lives in my backyard and when I hear the gate creak and her heels click up the sidewalk I am full of gladness, even if all I see is her sharp silhouette striding past the window on her way to feed her noisy crit.
I'm currently
I'm currently zipping through the state of Missouri! Hard to beat that.
We actually had a super fun morning in St. Louis.
We went to this amazing place called the City Museum.
http://citymuseum.org/site
It's a reclaimed massive old industrial Building like 12 stories tall filled with crazy tunnels and tubes and slides and tiny corridors for exploring. Also, a hamster wheel and skateless skate park and great vintage clothing on the 4th floor (what!). We went down a 10 story slide!
It was our first "fun field trip" of tour!
I hope you are all also feeling blessed.
For me, stressin' sessions call out for pad-heavy new age music from the 80s. It genuinely cools me out. Y'all ever heard of Peter Davidson?
Density = Megan over a Vulture.
All I remembered was the "Megan over a vulture" part. I had to google velocity and volume to figure out the equation.
