How long must I wait until this coffee cools to a temperature where I can drink it and not scald myself?

  • zero seconds, Mike. I take my coffee out of the microwave at a FULL BOIL and immediately begin sipping. Obviously, coffee people will cringe at that last sentence, but that's how I like it. You just have to learn how to sip equal amounts of coffee and cool air through your lips at the same time. Perfect.
  • You have whiskey stones, right? Use dem. They also make those large coffee-bean shape things you put in your coffee for the similar purpose as whiskey stones, but designed for coffee.
  • I like both these answers.
  • French press. Pour it when the kettle boils. Sit two minutes. Press. Pour a cup. Half-n-half splash. Human again!
