Places For Rent?

My co-worker is looking for a close-in apt for rent. He is great, one of my favorites at the office (Tim, some of you know him). It's him and his wife and their small dog. I was pushing the NE whereI live but thought other people might have good leads on places under a thousand bucks. He's checking CL of course, but a personal recommendation goes a long way in finding a new home.

    The other 1/2 of my duplex is available now. It's a 2 BR (one bedroom and closet are quite large; the other, is a normal sized bedroom with wall-length closet, as well. I wouldn't call it small)

    There is a fireplace as well as a small fenced in backyard with small wooden patio.

    The place has carpet...

    There is not a WD hook up; however, we've been sharing with the previous tenants and with the right neighbors would continue to do the same. There's also not a garage, but there is a parking spot in the driveway.
