My Cool Brother Wants a Mellow Sublet
I've told him about Air BnB but I also wanted to see if there were any friends who had something available.
He is super open w/r/t dates and money--he wants to spend roughly a month in Portland, sometime between Right Now to The End Of December, and he wants to pay anywhere from zero dollars to cheap.
He is very very responsible and clean--everyone he's housesitted for has asked him to come back at his earliest convenience because he left the place cleaner than they'd ever seen it. One time he cat-sat for me for only TWO DAYS but he cleaned my entire stove including my disgusting grease-grimed tea kettle. He had to actually go to the store to purchase cleaning supplies in order to effect this. Truly an above-and-beyond type dude. Also my cat did not die on his watch. He is just a GREAT HUMAN, you could entrust him with any number of tricky situations or tasks or animals and he would handle it calmly and with great aplomb and would leave clean sheets on your bed when he left. I can't recommend him highly enough as a subletter, housesitter, or animal caretaker. Except he is scared of snakes, so that's out. Also worms. Don't tell him I told you that.
Let me know if you have anything for this guy! Even a room in somebody's house, or a weird shed in a backyard. He's up for anything.
