| | Comments (3)

June 14th is the American celebration of Flag Day which commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United States of America in 1777 when the Continental Congress adopting the following:

Resolved: that the flag of the United States be thirteen stripes, alternate red and white; that the union be thirteen stars, white in a blue field, representing a new constellation.

In celebration of this wonderful day we'll be gathering to play Flag Football on Sunday, June 14th at Jefferson High School (5210 N Kerby) at 12 noon.
