I Predict Victory

Planning The DrillsWe had quite the morale-shattering loss against The Starters, a team that played very aggressive and physical, who beat us 12-5. Initially we expected a win beacuse they have a number of young kids on their team. While they did sub their keeper with a young kid a few times, the other youngsters were benched for most of the game and their more experienced players applied the pressure and dominated the game. (video coming soon)

So in the face of such a crushing loss, we took action and rented the futsal court for a Sunday practice. It went well and we ran through some drills for most of the hour, then played a little scrimmage. It was my first time out on the "grass" and it was a lot more fun that I expected. I was also much more tired and sore afterwards than I expected.

The full schedule is now online broken down by individual team (our next game is Thursday the 30th at 8:10 pm when we play team Relentless.

I am expecting a victory, and I would recommend this game to people who want to watch as it will be the first time we play in uniform!

In our experience, it's when the young kids do get on the pitch that you're really in trouble.
