Man Joey Chestnut's eating style was cracking me up... putting a dog halfway in his mouth, then gripping it with his full fist and wiggling it back and forth as he coaxes it down the throat. If I worked for the Daily Show or Colbert Report I'd be all over that clip...

And did anyone else think the ESPN announcers were WAY WAY WAAAAAAAY over the top with the sports metaphors? Constantly comparing eaters to Michael Jordan, the Yankees, and every other sports icon they could think of?

It's not a sport never will be . It takes somewhat of a talent to eat more than the average human being unless they are sipping some performance enhancing shit I would ignore any comparison of these people to famous present day or past sports icons.
