Short piece in today's Trib about the Portland Timbers upcoming season. Their first game is on April 22nd in Vancouver, and the first home game is Friday, May 5th, against Vancouver.

i'm thinking about hitting up that scrimmage this saturday at UP. bob's timbers blog (http://www.oregonlive.com/weblogs/timbersblog/) has been doing a standout job of detailing all the changes and new faces we're going to see this year. also, the 107 report (http://the107report.libsyn.com/) is everything a fan podcast should be, and is actually the first podcast i've subscribed to, oddly enough.
