Round One Victory!

By from August 15, 2004

DUNKThey lost. They lost bad. They lost bad to a team that is not expected to medal. In the first game of the Olympics!

Carlos Arroyo looked like a bona fide star. Puerto Rico's inside defense made it impossible to get to the hoop. USA's shooting was unbelievably bad. Why don't we have any shooters on the team? Get college players! They can shoot!

Start working that twenty into your budget, Steve.

To quote a man at the Portland Brewing Co. restaurant yesterday "it's an embarassment."

Actually, it's "pretty rad." We OWN Puerto Rico...

the funny thing is that the US team can still beat any team out there. they can also lose to almost any team too. they are going to advance out of their group. so steve may yet win that $20. i love that you took that bet. josh is so easily disillusioned though you are a clippers fan.

the key is to not let richard jefferson shoot. somebody break his thumb maybe he will shoot better. geez.
