Dear Josh Berezin

By from June 27, 2004

Dear Josh Berezin,
On this fine Sunday morning I found myself watching a NBA game from 1983. The date was December 13, 1983. The game took place in Denver, Colorado between the Denver Nuggets and the Detroit Pistons. The final score of this game was 186 to 184. It was amazing. It is the highest scoring NBA game of all time. The pace of the game was incredible. It went to 3 OTs. Isaiah Thomas, dude. Kelly Tripucka, dude. It was truly a different brand of basketball than we are familiar with from the NBA today. I'm not saying it was better and what we have now is worse, it was just exciting to see. Thank you so much, NBA TV. Thank you so much, Bill Lambier.
Josh Berezin, where are you. You need to see this. I understand, new job, and all, but Josh Berezin, 186-184 3OT on 12/13/83. YEAH.

I just can't wait till the show the game from November 10, 1990 between Pheonix and Denver where Pheonix scored 107 in the first half. 107 in the first half. That must have been quite a half.

Do you have it? On your digital video recorder?

I've been thinking about sports a lot lately. And True Fan. John's True Fan posts have been so good. I have little time for sport in my current schedule, but I will make time for this viewing.

I do not have it, Josh. You cannot contain these sorts of things on "hard drives." You cannot contain Kelly Tripucka.

How will I see this? I must.

Hey Nacho-

I think this O'Grady fellow is kind of crazy. He also attributes the size & quickness improvements of NBA players to "genetics and natural evolution." And predicts that better athletes will lead to far higher scoring. Isn't scoring at an all time low?

Nice spin on the article unfortunately you've lied as the article never dicsusses natural evolution or genetics...
