Neighbormates Presents: The Kelley and Jason Show, Hello! Video, Hello Damascus and Yes Father.

PORTLAND, OR – August 18, 2006 –On September 7th , Holocene is going to be bursting with creativity.

With the launch of a new production company, Neighbormates, the creators of Hello! Video and Needmore Designs (Raymond Brigleb and Kandace Nuckolls) join forces with The Kelley and Jason Show (Kelley Bryant and Jason Eksuzian) in what promises to be a bumper crop of humor and innovation.

This special evening will consist of two shows and two musical acts.

First we have Hello! Video #13. Hello! Video is an independent video and performance show, featuring a variety of local and international artists. Hello! Video was all the rage circa 2002-2003, when a dozen shows at a number of venues challenged audience and filmmaker alike. Now it returns from the grave, to shake up the scene once again.

Next up, A brand new Kelley and Jason Show. The Kelley and Jason Show is the variety show everyone is talking about presented by the duo the Portland Mercury called “Portland’s funniest married couple.” This month is full of hilarious live and video sketches you won’t want to miss.

See www.neighbormates.com, www.kelleyandjasonshow.com and www.hello-video.com for updates and video.

09:30 PM : The Kelley and Jason Show @ Mississippi Studios

Comedy / Improv Flyered by kmikeym

The Kelley and Jason Show enters its second year with musical guests Yes Father at
Mississippi Studios.

PORTLAND, OR – January 4, 2007 –Kelley and Jason are happy to be back behind the
camera and in the spotlight after a very happy holiday season. Fresh off a killer New
Year’s Eve show in Chicago, the couple brings it on home to Portland and a new venue,
Mississippi Studios, on January 25th.

The Kelley and Jason show is becoming well known as a comedy night that is not to be
missed. With irreverent video sketches and clever live pieces, this married duo will keep
you laughing and talking for days after. You’ll be in an elevator and remember the
disgustingly charming antics of the Hangover Chef. Or, perhaps you will be waiting for
the bus when a chuckle comes over you as you replay the profound insights of Blunty J’s
Podcast. Just make sure the boss doesn’t catch you watching “My Pussy Don’t
Understand” on YouTube.

As a special treat, Kelley and Jason have asked the best band ever in the world to help
celebrate with us: Yes, Father! This three piece will keep you in a good mood with songs
like “Rollerblading into the Night” and “Tripper.” Once they start telling epic stories
between songs, you won’t even want to get up to wee-wee.

Mississippi Studios features excellent seating, a bar and a generally awesome
atmosphere. Don’t miss this night of cutting edge comedy and fun.

11:30 AM : Urban Iditarod @ E&W side

Comedy / Improv Flyered by Rob W.

If Alaska's contribution to world culture is the 3 dog night and the Iditarod, perhaps Portland's is the Urban Iditarod. In the AK Iditarod, more than a thousand dogs draw 60 sledders over 1100 miles. For Portland's variation, 45+ teams draw shopping carts from bar to bar (Grand Cafe, Thirsty Lion, Someday Lounge, Rogue Public House, the Lotus) barking. There may be costumes involved. This is Portland's 6th annual event, it happens in other cities. SF originated, it's a Cacophony-type thing
Leave 11:30 AM Fire Station on S.E. Madison right next to the Willamette River. Finish Waterfront Park Free to bark or mush, free to watch.
