MONSIEUR T. FALL/WINTER ’06 LAUNCH PARTY + ART SHOW

Monsieur T., an independent local t-shirt company, will celebrate the launch of their Fall/Winter ’06 line with a party showcasing their new designs coupled with an opening reception for “Among Us”, the first solo art show of local up-and-comer and Monsieur T. artist, Ryan Berkley. Come check it out Friday, September 15th from 7-10pm at Cal’s Pharmacy, 15 NE Hancock St., Portland (next to the indoor skate park, Dept. of Skateboarding).

This will be the first opportunity for the public to view and purchase items from the new line, which features designs by such local celebrities as Bwana Spoons and Martin Ontiveros.

Ryan Berkley has designed some of Monsieur T.’s best selling t-shirt graphics, from a turtle ravaging the city of Portland to a vintage diver’s encounter with a shark. Established in 2004, Monsieur T.’s designs are inspired by skateboard culture and the indie art scene. Always on the lookout for fresh talent, they include artist collaborations in their line of screenprinted tees.
