The absurdity of "professional wrestling" is tiresome. The absurdity of Japan's 2000 year old national sport, Sumo is sublime. In Japan, the wrestlers are revered and they really do walk around in public in yakutas - the Japanese bathrobe - with their entourage. Now the sport has spread beyond its home country.
