Catch that Beat! is an all-ages independent musical festivus in its second year. I chose Astoria for the festival because of my personal history with the fishing town; I moved to Astoria when I was 6 years old from the east coast, then I moved away in the late '90s. I used to put on independent shows above my parents' gasoline station (BP-branded at the time) and in doing so I met some amazing people whom changed my life forever. Last lear in the early summer I visited Astoria to see my friends play in an old net shed. I decided then and there that I wanted to put on a mega-show in August and possibly do the same thing evey year. ENTER CATCH THAT BEAT!
