PORTLAND MOTORCYCLE/SCOOTER COMMUNITY FORUM
The Portland Mercury Presents
A Community Forum for Portland's 2-Wheeled Moto Community!
In preparation for our upcoming Motorcycle Issue, the Portland Mercury is hosting a community forum to discuss motorcycling and scootering in Portland. First, Commissioner Sam Adams and guest speaker Hillary Barbour from Congressman Blumenauer's office will provide information on working with city council and lobbying local goverment.
THEN, WE HEAR FROM YOU!
How can Portland be a more moto-friendly city? What would you like to see changed? What can be improved? Should motorcycles and scooters park for free?
The Mercury will record the public discussion and synthesize the content into a focused community statement for publication. The Mercury will also refine the statement into a bill, which will be presented to Sam Adams for legislation.
