Come join curious citizen and renowned photographer George Andrus as he dazzles the world with over a half-century of his stunning photography in an old-fashioned 35mm slideshow. Andrus will take a walk back through time as he projects his classic images, adding his mild-mannered wit to his folksy and clever photography. The evening is sure to please, as Mr. Andrus has won fans of all ages for his many unique creative projects and gentle humanity. This is a rare Portland appearance for the 95-year-old Albany, Oregon native. His last appearance was at the 2007 Portland Documentary & Experimental Film Festival where he was crowned the World Champion of Experimental Film for his Dancing Rainbows video project.

George Andrus has been taking photographs since he graduated from Albany High School in 1934. In 1970, Photography Magazine named Andrus’ photo “Morning Dew” the best color slide in America.
