6:00pm La Cucaracha Launch Party @ Publication Studio

Festive book launch for Matthew Stadler’s new novel, Chloe Jarren’s La Cucaracha. Featuring an original puppet show based on the novel — “El Narco Car Crash” by Jac LaHue (formerly known as the Dim Sum Puppet Opera) — live music by Ian Luxton (recently of STARFUCKER), plus hot Mexi-snacks, sugary sodas, and booze in a dark room. The author will read briefly and gladly sign the special “launch edition.” This event is free and open to the public.

Party starts at 6 pm at Publication Studio, 717 SW Ankeny Street (a block off Burnside, corner of Broadway, downtown). Puppet show after 6:30 and done by 7.
