Djs Zac Eno and Rumtrigger (sonic lozenge) emphasize the newest electronically charged Cumbia mixed with its close relatives Reggaeton (Puerto Rico), Baile Funk (Brazil), Kwaito (South Africa), and Champeta (Columbia) while set to Electro, House, and Techno beats and mashed up in everything from Gangsta Rap to Jungle to Miami bass. Already bringing major heat in Argentina and Mexico, Digital Cumbia is rapidly becoming a huge influence in club music on a global scale!!

Zac Eno has been djing for almost two decades. He was a member of the Compound Records crew in SF throughout the 90s alongside DJs Stareyes, Flux & Rinse. His recent Cumbia nights at Tiga and Valentine’s have been top-notch, and proved the need for a larger dancefloor…

Rumtrigger is part of the Shipwrecker Selectors crew, whose international nights at Langano Lounge have raised quite a stir. When we at Holocene laid our hands on his mix “Pop the Bottle, Fire at Will,” it quickly moved into heavy rotation as a staff favorite.
