The possible worlds are endless. I am beyond tired of all the worlds I encounter in sci-fi being misogynist.”

I gave him a list of authors (all female- Joann Russ was the first one). I doubt he’ll read any of them. Fucking loser.

I was going to intensely talk about “écriture feminine” in this review, but I figured it might be a little “too much.”Also, friend-dude? Feminist sci-fi is totally mind-blowing. To me it’s kind of the ultimate/perfect use of the form, since sci-fi is all about the construction of alternate realities which are more permissive than the ones in which we live. To make the leap to using fabulation to talk about gender constructions…it’s so good.SEXISM IS OVERIF YOU WANT IT

It’s like Hélène Cixous wrote a sci-fi novel in the 60’s?? I LOVE THIS. I’m going to send this to all my social theory nerd friends.
