I recently decided to give up on my old Epson Stylus C80 printer (mostly due to horrible horizontal lines that refused to go away), and replaced it with a Canon Pixma iP5200. I haven't made full use of its photo printing capabilities, but already I'm not entirely convinced this thing will fulfill my needs (deep blacks show horizontal lines). Oh well, I knew I had to try a different brand, and I've just kind of gravitated to Canon by default for their quality and design of their cameras.
So, basically it at least looks nicer on my desk.
Oh, and in response to Cabel's post about Canon's "secret" clock, here is the clock on the SD10 that he appropriately mentioned as "Tron-like."
