Freelance Copyediting
From October 26, 2005
While perusing the CNN web site yesterday I noticed a typo in the title to the article Mars rover begins descent from summit--the word "descent" was missing its "s", and it was really weird and obvious to me.
I decided to see if I could take care of this mistake, (utilizing an inside connection of mine), and sure enough, 5 minutes later "decent" was now "descent"--small work, but fairly gratifying.

You need to put up new pictures of your stache. I've been hearing about it. I want to photoshop it into inappropriate situations and then stare at it.

Whoa... it's alive. I can't stop looking at it.
FYI: When the season starts again you're taking me to a Timbers game.

That is awesome. It's like the way UrHo is sort of community edited (I'll fix broken links or resize images for people) but on the larger scale. I wonder how you implement something like this for an organization like CNN or NYTimes?
