Victory!

It's been a slow few weeks here, but in my defense I was waiting with baited breath to find out the results from the mustache competition, and it turns out I won!

It feels great to finally win something this year (after losing the Sexiest Indie Gamer Contest, and coming in second in both the Pizza Challenge and the FIFA Videogame Tournament). However, I would have appreciated this victory even more if I had gained the validation of my mustache-wearing family members during the recent Thanksgiving holiday:

Instead of acceptance into this exclusive club, I was informed I would be denied entrance, due to the insincerity of my growth. These hairy-lipped lifers saw through my 6-week charade, and after a few too many comments I left the ultra-manly lifestyle and returned to my usual non-stachin look. (Although I got the sense my father was proud to have borne a son who could achieve such thick growth).
