Hey, Kihei!
Hello, new hawaiian visitor! David and I are here with my mom, Jessie, who is wondering if you are her friend Sally.
Are you? Who are you? We are curious and delighted to find you here on the blog. We hope that this direct address is not freaking you out.
Love,
Emily
Welcome! Italy, Texas
A Texas-sized HELLO to all y'all in Italy. And thanks for stopping by the blogging arm of Slash We Apostrophe enterprises.
The Starship Pegasus and the World's Largest Caterpillar are just two of the many attractions Italy has to offer; you can enjoy the sights as you travel the roads at a more human speed in the annual Tour d' Italia bike ride.
Italy would like to remind you that "it is unlawful for any person to engage in improper starting of a motor vehicle or to burn-off in any motor vehicle. It is also unlawful for any person to drive any motor vehicle in a manner to cause excessive noise. It is also unlawful for any person to throw litter from any motor vehicle. It is also unlawful for anyone to ride outside of a motor vehicle within the city limits except in a parade with approval of the City of Italy. Any person who violates this ordinance shall be deemed guilty and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine of not more than $200. Each day such a violation shall continue shall continue or be permitted shall be deemed a separate offense."
Furthermore, "a dangerous wild animal means a lion, tiger, ocelot, cougar, leopard, cheetah, jaguar, bobcat, lynx, serval, caracal, hyena, bear, coyote, wolf, jackal, baboon, chimpanzee, orangutan, macaque, gorilla, lesser panda, binturong, ape, elephant, rhinocerous, non-human primate, hybrid of any of the above animals, any other non-domesticated animal which shall pose a threat to public health and safety, or any poisonous or constricting reptile. A person may not own, possess, transport, confine, have custody or control of, or harbor a wild animal within the city limits at a residence or within 1,000 feet of a school. A person who violates this ordinance is liable for a civil penalty of not less than $200.00 and not more than $2,000.00 for each animal with respect to which there is a violation and for each day the violation continues."
Be safe out there, and God bless.
