I've been on a real negative head trip lately, man.
So I decided to think some happy thoughts and make some happy lists.
I love:
vicious, unapologetic, 17 minute classic rock songs
unexpected emails from old friends
finding someone who I lost track of on friendster, and seeing that they got out of the Small Town Trap
seeing my reflection in a CD and realizing that I'm still here
goose bumps
singing along to sappy, schlocky crap (and crying like a baby)
yams

walking out from the shadow of a building and feeling the sun on my skin

my family
my friends
making lists

dancing to it
air guitaring to it
opening a door for an elderly lady who's not expecting it and getting a nice smile

reading books
talking about books
having those Conversations that are so real they've got to be fake
I like your new style! Also your list is super nice.
Also I was expecting the audio to be something you did, & so for a long time I thought you had made a completely identical Beck cover, as you are sometimes wont to do. I still harbor some doubt about this. If you told me that it was you and not Beck, I would still believe you, although I'm not sure where you would get that orchestra-of-synthesizers sound.

Having explored a little bit more, I can say that I REALLY LOVE your new style.
The only thing I find a little disconcerting is that after you've been looking around for a little while, people's names start to be crossed off (for example, people who have left comments). This strikes me as ever so slightly disturbing. "No more Mikey!" the blog seems to be exclaiming. "No more Lucie!" But all in all, it is beautiful and wonderful.
