For all you Portlanders out there come on by and see me tonight at the Doug Fir.
Why? My wife Susan and her craft collective have a new book out called Super Crafty and they're having a grand release party.
Great music from Millions of Birds, my good friend Roy Tinsel, and Rebecca Pearcy of Queen Bee fame. Plus free crafty goodie bags to the first 100 people.
AC will be on hand to MC the event, which will mostly consist of giving away great raffle prizes like classes at DIY Lounge, Stumptown coffee, vinyl by Queen Bee, tickets to shows at Doug Fir, and of course Super Crafty delights.
And it's FREE FREE FREE. Door open at 8pm, bands start at 9pm. 21 and over.
If you can't make it, they'll also be having a crafty party at Last Thursday, October 27 at Frock, at NE 30th and Alberta.
Is there an eBay angle in all this? Of course! Stayed tuned.
