NYC's Past Awesome

Being that I am totally in love with Portland's Aerial Tram I was excited to hear that New York City had its own tram running from Manhattan to Roosevelt Island. Skipping the usual attractions, Curt and I headed down to 59th and 2nd to do a quick round trip. As great as it was, it was also pretty much just a big box. From what I have seen our tram is going to be much nicer!
See all the images on Flickr.
And being New York of course that tram recently broke requiring the passengers to decend some seriously sketchy rope ladder. Also, Tom Cruise rode that tram in a movie!!

Guaranteed our tram won't lead to a place as bizarre as Roosevelt Island.
