wow, thanks for your response. I do write with the artist in mind, so I’m glad this was helpful, hopefully not overly harsh. I tried to approach my response with formal aspects in mind and an attempt to understand attention from within the parameters of the piece (as much as possible).
It would be an honor to have you see my work – currently working on a collaboration with Linda Austin that opens Nov. 13th.

If anything, reading this has helped to make things more clear as to what I want to communicate in this work. I am excited to keep developing “too” as we continue to perform it elsewhere. I have had some really amazing conversations with people and what you wrote was very helpful. And for the record, I do pay attention to paying attention, I wouldn’t be doing what I do if I didn’t. Everyone has a different way of doing this. We follow our guts and interests. Ours may be different, we don’t know each other, but this is the wonderful thing about making stuff and sharing it. I would love to check out your work sometime.
