Sorry everyone.

The ‘point’ is that the performance is “Ten Tiny Dances”, not “Eighteen”.
We can certainly agree to disagree, and that is fine.
It was not a personal attack upon Mike Barber [thank you for the spelling correction].
One of the first things you are taught in the arts is to accept criticism as a way to learn, not a way to hurt. I do not know Mike as a person, and would not begin to speak about him in such a manner. I do welcome a conversation sometime, if he would so desire one.
Over the years I have seen many episodes of Ten Tiny. They have been beautiful, and I am deeply appreciative of Mike Barber as a producer and curator of the show. What I am being critical of is his desire to spend significant amounts of time on that stage. If he is to perform, then he and his troupe should be given equal access to the stage, and not any favors. I know that he created the idea, but if he truly thought of himself as equal and not greater then the other performers, then he would modestly have choreographed something, which fit in; and not a segmented work that required attention time and again. Remember, he has access to that stage each and every time that Ten Tiny goes on. Not all of the other performers have that access. It would, in my opinion, be more generous for him to give more time to other performers, and have less of a presence in the spot light.
I appreciate your comments, but I assure you that I am not the only one that feels this way about his quantity of time on stage and microphone in the Ten Tiny series. Mike is taking on a lot of responsibility as choreographer, producer and curator. He has great vision, he has great talent, and I look forward to future projects where he is involved.
Perhaps we both need to learn to edit more?

I did enjoy your beautiful sound composition for all of the segments of “Bowl: A Goldfish Story”.
Thank you.
I believe that all of your comments are posted here. Thank you, I have read them and acknowledge your words. If something else was said beyond your three duplicates and the other one, then please do ask UrbanHonking if there was a technical glitch, as I do want to hear you and have an intelligent dialogue.
p.p.s.
Mike, sorry about the underwear comment. You may wear anything that you like.

Your comments about Ten Tiny Dances were incredibly unjustified and off-the-mark. It’s reads like a personal attack – well, which it is.
Were we even at the same show?
Ten Tiny would be nothing without Mike’s creative vision and tireless efforts. The shows would simply not happen, and the performers would not come, if it weren’t for Mike – who, by the way, is one of the most ego-free performers and curators I know.
It’s not “ego-meniacial” (sic) to be fully present in your work. What is ego-maniacal is to attack something without reason just to make yourself look cool. Your insults have no creative merit.
There’s a quote that says “Writing about music is like dancing about architecture.” Maybe architects shouldn’t write about dance.
And you didn’t even spell Mike’s name correctly.
PS – Just curious – an hour ago there were two responses to your blog on Ten Tiny that didn’t agree with you, and now they’re gone. Why have a “comments” feature at all, if you don’t intend to let the comments stand?

KIDDING? you know, it’s obvious that every time you hurl an insult in the form of unsolicited “criticism” that you are simply ravenously, virulenly envious. I can’t even begin to pick apart your insulting “review” and personal attack on Mike Barber, else this post would be as long as one of your self-indulgent diatribes. Unbelievable. Free speech, yes yes, if I don’t like it I don’t have to read it, yes yes. Damn my morbid curiosity. But seriously, I hope you are cosmically unable to ever attend TBA again.
