Dear LORD! It is bad enough to have to scroll through your masturbations to check in on relevant and succinct posts, but now you’ve double-posted…
I think you are missing the point of this blog. I’d have so much more respect for your thoughts and opinions if you had more respect for your potential readers’ patience and expectations. Toot your own horn all you want, but some songs are just way too long and boring to care about.

I think the comment about intellectual masturbation was not intended to indicate a lack of response, as you suggest. It describes an overabundance of unwanted details about your personal life, which (in my opinion) have no place in a public forum like this. Save it for your diary or personal blog. The fact that you ate a big burrito and had gas during a performance does nothing to inform my opinion about said performance. Also, I’m sorry, but I think that your general attitude of quantity over quality in both your approach to the festival (seeing everything) and your writing results in a lack of depth and sensitivity to both. It also ignores the needs of this audience, who (I’m guessing) come to this site to learn more about TBA and the performances, not about your gastronomic adventures and misadventures your yoga class, your dog, your ex-girlfriend, your career, etc. If you’re jerking off in public, you can’t blame others for not helping you out or joining in. Of course, it’s also hard to look away from something horrific.
