Meow maps out her own intimate Red Light district on the NWNCC stage with sassy underwear, clankering “baggage” and airy ribbons in My Mouth is a Wonder.
Within this realm the audience is hit with both desperation, isolation and humor. A boisterous cabaret–featuring grown men from the audience blindfolded sucking lollipops–My Mouth later morphs into a lonely tango dance across the stage. Mesmerizing.
Tears filled my eyes as Meow graced us with a tender lullaby at the end. Not to be missed!
