Would it be weird to reveal here that my main high-school boyfriend was really into sexxing it up while playing Mozart’s Requiem? It probably is weird. But, I have to say, I still always have a little thrill at listening to it.
It’s kind of a sexy piece of music anyway.

I second Portishead and early Tricky. The Nirvana/ Crakcer comment by Liz was right on (reffering to a mix tape we made titled “The 4th base” mix in High school) I will also add Pulp (Different Class album) and Leonard Cohen.

Whoa, all of my top choices have already been named–it’s good to know that I’m not sexing it up to things no one else would choose. I second Portishead, Cracker’s “Low,” motherfuckin’ Prince and I would add pretty much anything by Kings of Leon, Pete Yorn and Claudine Longet.
