Sneak peak at my upcoming paper:
"Multipotential mesenchymal cells that give rise to osseous and chondral cell lines have been demonstrated in animal studies, suggesting that extraskeletal osteochondromas may arise from the differentiation of connective tissue fibroblasts."
Also...
"It has been suggested by some authors that the distinction of extraskeletal osteochondroma as a discrete entity is debatable and that it may lie on a spectrum of post-traumatic ossifying lesions that includes soft tissue chondromas, soft tissue osteomas, and myositis ossificans."
I just wrote this stuff. Blah. Want to go outside.
Is that sneek peek? Daayum those simple little words, when you have so many long and latin ones to get write!
So, how you doin'?
I'm suffering AinMS withdrawal.
SO- HOW YOU DOIN? I am guessing you are either in the midle of some horrendous medical exam-a-thon, poor you, or if that is done and over, maybe you are in post-exam-a-thon alcohol-assisted recuperation. Or on holiday. Anyway, best wishes whatever you are engaged in, hope it's going well!
I think you misspelled "Multipotential mesenchymal." HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!! I love you so much, red haired siren doctor lady. Don't get blue. Chin up. Remember "MRDR," the magazine for the male doctor lifestyle?? Funny!! Remember how you have had your hands on a living beating human heart? Funny!! You are a strong and capable woman. Everybody (in med school) goes through these times of intense mental strife and wanting to go outside. You are going to be awesome. You are going to do it. You are going to go outside. I love you.
Hey Fiona-- I don't have any your address or your email, so I had to resort to this. Please send me both, ASAP.
UPDATE: Fiona is in her "surgury" rotation, which is sort of like a combination of camping and being in a coma as far as being social is concerned. But have no fear, she is done in a few weeks!
Fiona, I miss your blog updates!
