Did any of you see

Did any of you see the Ashlee Simpson debacle on Saturday Night Live? Man oh man, was that some good TV watching. It’s a wonder I saw it at all, given I’m usually half asleep by the end of Weekend Update, but some mysterious bad-TV force kept me up long enough to see the girl screw up royally and run off stage. There are several sources saying there was lip synching going on, which makes the story EVEN BETTER, but I just thought she forgot the lyrics and wasn’t able to recover.

Talentless, bratty sister riding on the back of only jokingly respected older sister + humiliating public display of inability to react well to surprises + blaming entire thing on band members, AKA the real musicians = complete justification for any Ashlee Simpson-directed snideness and/or ridicule.
