Food Journal

Remember this project (Jan, Feb, Mar)? The three months of documenting all the food that went into my body? I enjoyed that a lot, but I found it sort of overwhelmed my flickr account.

A friend just showed my myFoodPhone.com, which is actually a pretty terrible site design-wise, but it uses the power of documentation to help influence people to eat better. You use your camera phone to take a picture of your food and then email it to them. Later you go in and "score" the meal for how much of each food group you ate. There is also a paid service for $9.99 where a nutritionist will look at your food and write you emails. There is also a community aspect but that whole parts keep erroring on me (again I should mention the site seems sort of janky).

I just started yesterday and I wish there was some competition aspect because my food so far is kicking ass:

If anyone else signs up let me know and we can be "Food Buddies" and look at each other's meals.
