Project Celestim Update
Update on Project Celestim from our man on the ground:
I just had a talk to Celistim and he has some problems to work out with his chicken egg plan.
1. Time. He is an only child at home and lives with his mother, (I do not know where the father is) so after he works for us 12 hour nights he has to go home and carry water for the house and some other chores.
2. Land. He had the land promised him from another man, but when he went to start putting up a fence and chicken house the land had been tilled and crops were growing. The man said he was late so let someone else have it.
3. Worker. Most young people here that want a job already have one so the boy he wanted to work for him can not do it now.
He has another young man that may want to go into business with him. He is trying to get some money to invest from his uncle. He has a place to use for the chickens that is already fenced and has a house. So it would work well for them if the boy raises the money.
I have offered them land that is outside our fence, so at least one side would be fenced for them. So if the first place does not work out maybe ours will work for them.
He is coming to get me this weekend and we will go together to look at the proposed sites.
