UrHo Status

STATUS: UHX is not working, and we are looking into it. :(

UrbanHonking has been running so slow. It's hard to publish anything, and it seems like in addition to being slow things just aren't working a lot of the time.

We are currently looking into ways to make UrHo run smoother, as the current theory is that we are over-taxing the server we are on. Dreamhost has been very responsive if not entirely helpful in the matter, and I think perhaps UrHo is just too big a site for them to keep up reliably.

With that in mind we've been looking at other hosting options, which will no doubt cost a little more money. But at this point it's a problem I'm completely willing to pay to fix.

With the TBA and UB3 approaching, we will be working hard to make sure things are stable and reliable, and then perhaps after that we'll look at moving to a new hosting company.
