UB3 Thoughts
As the applications start to come in, it makes me wonder what the best way to get people to see the UB3 site is. The internet has a way of sucking up interesting information, but this year the application window is a little bit shorter and I'm wondering if people won't find it until after we have selected the final candidates?
Josh had a good idea and posted it to Digg, and of course it's on the front page of UrHo.
(Oh, if you haven't seen the video yet, I recommend watching the larger version.)
It's very different this season, and there is some real pressure on us as we're in the TBA this year! I think we're the only virtual performance that is happening. Jona's been doing stuff with Rhizome.org for a long time, but it's the first time any project of mine is being seen as "art", and I find it intimidating and exciting.

I'm probably a bit too much in the YouTube mindset since I've been writing my dissertation on it, but apparently the way to get attention there is to post replies to highly-subscribed members' recent videos. If you can find a way to work UB3 into a relevant video reply, it might get you a lot of attention. Of course, if it's too much blatant self-promotion, everyone will hate you. :)
This is just a test
