Thirty
Looking at the amazing pace of modern science, I estimate that tomorrow I will be somewhere between 1/4 and 1/8 through my life. Yes, I'm turning thirty, and I expect to live somewhere between 120 to 240 years. Thank you science.
Seeing as how I am still so relatively young, I think it best to celebrate without a lot of fanfare. Thirty just isn't a big deal. Sure, it's a multiple of 10 and we tend to like those numbers, but really it's just a great excuse to hang out with friends.
Squeez (1403 SE Belmont St) @ 8:00pm or so. Barfly says, "Ramshackle neighborhood joint incorporates desert-island decor - flotsam and jetsam and fishtanks - with a billiard room, and a small, cigar-friendly 'library.'"
I'll pick up a box of cigars and see you there tomorrow (May 17th).
