::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::i was commissioned to make artwork for alexander mcqueen/target. the only guideline was that i had to "deconstruct" the materials from his clothing line. I cut and glued parts of the clothes fabric to my hand then wrote text and then photographed them. the hands ended up being about face stitches and money. the fabric i used in this one was originally white, i died earth color in the mud next to the tree i crashed my face into last month. the opening party ended up feeling more like a mall than a fashion space, but overall it felt good to follow through with a project.
