You know those moments when the light is hitting you directly and you are drinking good beer and the world just slows down a little bit? that was most of my summer. and now the nature spirits have thrown us back into the dark muck, the never ending gloom of an oregon winter. not to say that I don't secretly enjoy staying in, but it is nice to have a cache of sunny content to sift through.

also, the new judesays web portal has been updated. I'm hoping to add a nice music player that you can control, as it is now a bit annoying with the unstoppable music. If you know a good flash player send me a note.

Animals are so amazingly intense. They pick up on so much that we would generally never notice. They are totally in tune with another world, one that relies on things barely perceptible to our paltry human inferences; things that to them, could determine the situations of life and death, of food lurking in the grass, and of friends and enemies. summer drivin. people tell me time is running out.
I am desperately trying to catch up with the amount of footage I have, doling it out into small little things. that's how summer goes; just a blur of swimming, hitching rides with friends, wandering around eating it all up. and then things get backlogged. experiences outweigh my ability to process and export them for further consumption.
so perhaps it will take awhile; perhaps summer will last all year.

I want to thank Curt for fixing my comments, apparently they weren't working before ( I just thought nobody liked it. ha! )
Just got back from What The Heck Fest which, despite being rained out of my tent, proved to be a great experience with fantastic musicians and good people, many of which I have heard about for some time and finally got to meet and hang out with. Dalas and I shot a good amount of the festival so I'm sure you'll see that popping up around the internet in various places.... in order to catch up I'll probably post a bunch of stuff in the next few days, so if you miss stuff you can always go back in the archive by hitting that little << button below. it's a little buggy (you have to press it twice to start going back), but you are a smart internet user and will have little issue with the matter. oh, and be sure to check out the footage I shot of YACHT at the Pix Bastille Day Block Party Extravaganza on Jona's site here. I'll make a nicer version later. Maximum Peace.
