Fight Club though, the ending felt positive about the fate of humanity. Like with these buildings gone, perhaps we can now be FREE. It was joyful but about LIFE. Destroying the system, rather than seeing the system as inextricable from the experience of life itself.

Also, the end of Dr. Strangelove? The whole vibe of Dr. Strangelove was very similar to Cabin in the Woods now that I’m thinking about it.
