The only time I’ve ever seen that show was when Cary’s dad was on it (he played a victim who gets killed at home after dinner with the kids).
I do love tilt shift photography (it synthesizes the effect of photographing a miniature, though the actual impact is somewhat different in the case of a landscape rather than an interior — whether the miniaturization is real or artificial). If I had an SLR camera, I’d probably buy a Lensbaby — an attachment for doing tilt shift optically on any camera that’s made by this cool company here in Portland.

There is a long plot arc concentrating on a small, intricate, super-accurate model of a crime scene found in the crime scene itself. One might also reference those regular, full-scale, real-world landscapes that are made to look like miniatures through use of a shift lens.
