I really enjoyed reading your Wedding Memories as it brought back great memories for us! The food was fabulous not only in presentation but flavor and is still talked about down here in San Diego! No worries dudes. I knew it wasn’t directed towards us. I still feel like we could have made the extra effort knowing that you were not a catering company, you know? All the lessons learned from that day could make the head spin. But you sure did make it sparkle. We could never thank you enough. You put a spell on people for sure–all of you.

no regret rien!! it was a great learning experience for hotknives and co and the bride and groom where the picture of gratitude and grace. definetly a momentus occasion, hk pulled out all the stops and the food was beautiful, only to be outdone by the company!

No regrets! I believe the ‘lesson learned’ comments were directed toward Hot Knives, not the wedding birds! A real catering company would have, after all, enlisted hired help rather than generous guests.
But as for the kitchen heat, well, you know the sayingt. We would never cop to that. Alex and I loved the whole damn thing.

We should have hired help for sure. Man, I felt like such an asshole with how hot it was and not being able to help you all… big time bummer. I am sorry that we did not take care of that. I truly regret it.

how did “two dudes can’t cook and serve to 100 guests all on their own, they’ll need to hire help (or enlist their nearest dearest)” not make it into 10 things you’ve learned?! I think I learned that the hard way…..
but for matthew and laura it was worth it!

Insurance Schminsurance, Why would you bet against yourself?
I did that Stone Brewery tour last weekend, and it was great. Their beers are even more unbelievable fresh from the taps, and the in house restaurant was very impressive, with a killer beer list.

Whoa. Our wedding. I sort of forgot. It was soo good and unexpected to have the platter of food afterward. We definitely enjoyed that deeply.
