I was glad to see your articles start up in LA Alternative. You write more about beer than other food and drink writers, and I applaud you. I invite you up to my place – Gordon Biersch in Burbank – if you want to hear the ins and outs of the LA beer scene. Hell, I’ll be glad to meet with you at any LA brewpub or ‘better beer’ joint.
I also invite you to an upcoming Brewers Dinner here at Gordon Biersch on July 12. I also heard that Belmont Brewing is having a Brewers Dinner where their dishes will be paired with beers from Craftsman Brewing (Pasadena) in late July.
This is all to say: if you would need someone to talk about the ins and outs of the LA beer scene, I’m available anytime. I’m interested in raising the beer knowledge (and a pint or two) in this city of ours.
