This is my new home. My roommate Melissa owns it. She bought it three years ago for a small amount of money. She is 22 years old. Totally renovating the house to her own liking. A lot still needs to be done to it... but well worth it. Philadelphia is AWESOME!!!... please come visit!!!
yeah... it's pretty nuts! the whole left side is just cement and brick. the house that used to be butted up against it was torn down because of major crack users hanging around in it all the time. My neighborhood is rad though. Dollar fruit trucks, good ethiopian coffee, just great character everywhere you go. I don't mean to hype so much... it's just really inspirational... that's all.

I'm imagining a city block surrounding that house, and people smoking crack in front or all of them except that one. Then they just tore them all down, and said, "that one's o.k. leave it."

that's another house. no shed. pretty much all of philly is dilapidated. the newspaper machine is melissa's friends, who used to put his own zines in it... but maybe i'll put mine in there now!
