Welcome in France
by joon
Ooooh lala, I am so sorry. I was not able to write because my parent's computer is broken. I tried before it broke but it took me half an hour to write ten lines. The first reason is that it doesn't work well and second I hate french keyboard now! I was happy before I began to write with it because I missed my dear accents...éééééééééé, èèèèèèè, ààààà, ùùùùù, and my favorites êêêêêê or ï ï ï, isn't that beautiful? So i was happy until I realized I was looking for the letters and typing always the wrong ones. It's crazy how it's different. And it's weird that I have a hard time to use it.
But you want a funny story... Today I decided, because I felt better and I was less busy ( I worked last week, that's true!!!) , to go in a cybercafé. But the city where I am now is the one I left five years ago so all the places I went when I was living there don't exist anymore! Checkers!
I walked and walked and finally someone show me a place to use internet!
I went inside and someone was speaking in english! I listened because I miss it now. And the guy began to talk to me in english. He was the boss! He doesn't speak french at all but one guy with him is french but talk in english! Fun! In the middle of normandy! And he proposes english keyboard! Great!
So right now I am drinking a tiny black coffee ( I will talk about coffee one day) and of course you breathe smoke! I mean we are in france!
Now I have my blog I see my country and all our habits in an other way. Rather I just want to talk about it. It's so fun.
My arrival last week:
I always say French love complaining and when I was landing in Paris, I thought : " Oh, this airport is terrible, dirty... and oh people are going to complain!" I arrived inside the airport and the mechanic stairs were not working, I thought : " It's not surprising, there is always something wrong!"
And I was hearing some french saying that the stairs never worked and bla bla bla... I thought :" Oh french people, shut up, are you happy sometimes" and oh I suddenly realized I was exactly doing the same!!!! Complaining ! I hate complaining!
News from france:
Since I arrived, I saw one manifestation in the street. Friends invited me at about ten manifestations and Electricity corporation turned off one hour the electricity in my city because of a strike!
And war against terrorism is crazy now but at least I am not to be arrested here! First because they don't care if I try to live here and second because they don't control white, blond girl!
Our government changed but actually it's the same. It's like, if you work in a restaurant, before you were asking to people what they wanted to eat, instead now you do the dishes but you are in the same restaurant. So our defense minister now is for example minister for education. It's not that but almost so you can imagine the disaster. But again I am complaining!!!
Oh something good....I speak french, I eat baguette everyday and french food! I will do some descriptions later! I am not sure vegetarian people would like this category!
Until the end of april I don't think I will be able to go on my blog more than once a week but leave comments!
After may it would be easier!
No french translation this time sorry for my friends!
Next time!
Pas de traduction francaise cette fois desolee enfin désolée
ééééééééééééé çççççççççççççààààààèèèèèèùùùù ï ï ï ë îîîêêêê
Of course all the things I say about France and USA are stereotypes!!! But they are fun!
I will write more in details little by little but right now I have the impression that I smoked 30 cigarettes in one hour though I just didn't even smoke one!!
So bye bye guys ..........

Comments
And remember, just because I am not leaving comments doesn't mean I don't check your site EVERY DAY!
