One Year Later: "Red Dawn"
Pulitizer Prize winner Nigel Jaquiss of the Willamette Week looks back on a story about a forecast of a shift in statewide power from Democrats to Republicans, "It's also possible that the story was, in the words of the state's best-known pollster, 'flat-assed wrong.'"
Pollster Tim Hibbitts argues "Oregon is a hell of a lot more blue than red, and is getting more blue."

He then revs up towards the end, propelling the exuberant and unintelligible chorus chants with a rapid, handclap-driven pulse."
