Jona Bechtolt Har Norske Oldeforeldre...

I have no idea if they love him or hate him, but Jona appeared in a newspaper in Norway!

I like reading it like Swedish chef interspersed with English words:

Yorn desh born pizza der ritt de gitt Hawthorne smurngi dee born desh sushi bork bork Marriage Records.

hi! I wrote this. I did not cal jona a krumkake (hoho), it says that jona has norwegian great grandparents and eats krumkaker for christmas, and that he is recording some drums down at marriage. he talks about when he moved to portland, about living here and his views on the musicscene. it is an article about portland. the newspaper is called dagbladet. if someone wants to hear more, invite me out for coffee and I will translate for you!

I want to hear more Ingeborg!
how much longer are you around for?

Posted by: hason at September 1, 2006 4:20 PM

Hasn't that newspaper been around for like, 100 years or something?

aww, i was gonna translate, but then the real Norwegian beat me to it :( one thing that's funny, i always felt like Norwegians talked about eating a lot. "spise" was the word i heard most over there. so it's funny to see that one of the most important facts about Jona is what he eats for jul :)
