here is an update, because a lot of things are going on lately.

riddenpaa! we finished recording, email me if you want a copy of our (as yet unreleased) ep, dokuchanATATATATATATyahoosdottingcom. we can do a trade - you send me something in the mail, I send you our trenchant political jams. adam selzer of type foundry produced, he is amazing.

riddenpaa!
thursday march 22 at Dante's w/Dan Deacon, Blood Baby, Copy, DJ Rad $5
saturday march 24 at Doug Fir w/OOIOO, Small Sails $12
we don't really try to get shows, as a result this is probably your only chance to see us till summer unless you lurk outside our practice space.

art update - for the moms!
I have a photo in the current (april) issue of Oprah magazine, page 60. It's of the ladies rock camp, a fundraiser for the rock n roll camp for girls. you should check it out.
also I have a photo and little interview/article thing in australia's awesome Monster Children mag, if you live down under try to see it....when the issue comes back from the printer.

street level show - here is a blurry photo of my photos....I'm showing some of the ones from when I got to hang out and document the Decemberists' recording of The Crane Wife. also Rob Walmart setups and Dr. Fiona's busted knee.

and here is a corner of my studio.

I am headed to Laos in a few weeks, and I want to bring a ton of polaroid film on my trip. polaroid portraits are awesome, and I usually take two and give one to the subject, instead of being the jerk who shoots telephoto and they never see again. so if you owe me money, or want to buy some of my art, please please let me know, you will help me stoke out some rad people. also if you want me to distro your stuff (stickers, music, cool zines) in a very random part of asia, send it to me right quick: po box 56362 portland or 97238
meanwhile, what are you up to? what is blooming in your neighborhood? summer plans? I am having such a good time lately I want to spread it around, if you send me something I will send you something back....mystery packs! get in.

Hi! My family is from Laos. I haven't been there in 15 years and I hear it has changed tremendously since then. I can't wait to see all your photos.
Safe travels.
